Who could use help managing today?

Who could use help managing today?

Somehow I felt threatened by the question. My thoughts quickly spiraled then launched my body into fight or flight.

Hey guys, Todd here.

Maybe a personal question, but how do you manage?

This is one of those tricky questions that could reveal how you’re doing and feeling lately.

How did you read the word manage?

A. How do you manage daily tasks, people, kids, errands, etc.?
B. How do you even manage? Given all the stress of the average day?

Think about why you answered A or B.

If you answered B, you’re in my camp.

That question was posed to me recently and my brain heard this: “How am I juggling my business, marriage, kids, house projects, bills, diet, impending recession, exercise schedule, and climate crisis?“

Somehow I felt threatened by the question. My thoughts quickly spiraled then launched my body into fight or flight.

Fortunately, I was able to counter that feeling with a series of slow breaths, which did the trick.

How do others manage?

3,000+ people in the Komuso community have shared about their de-stressing experience with the Shift.

See how others do it.

Even as the cofounder of a brand focused on turning stress off and increasing calm, I let my thoughts get the best of me.

I kind of celebrate moments like these because I was able to identify the problem and immediately reverse it. Instead of feeling controlled by a thought, I took control of the result.

That’s why breathing is our MVP: it gives us control.

We may not be able to properly manage relationships or our kids or our daily schedule all the time… but breathing allows us to manage how we feel about those things. How we feel translates into how we live, and how we manage.

Feel better, think better, breathe better: this mantra inspired us to create a community built on helping people feel better by breathing better.

Manage better with our thinking and breathing tools.

Combine the Shift (our breathing tool) and Rotezen (our thinking tool) and you can develop a habit of feeling better.
